1. Scheduling & Access
- Service appointments are scheduled in advance. Emergency services are offered based on availability and billed at emergency rates.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring the generator is accessible and unobstructed by fencing, vegetation, vehicles, or debris.
- If the property is within a gated community, any necessary gate codes or access instructions must be provided, including listing On Demand Power with the guard shack or entry system, if required.
2. Payment Terms
- New customers must provide a valid method of payment before scheduling service.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Invoices not paid within 15 days may be subject to late fees.
- Emergency and after-hours work is billed at a higher rate and must be paid at the time of service.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a service appointment.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a service call fee.
4. Warranty & Liability
- On Demand Power performs in-warranty repairs for eligible generators when applicable.
- Service work does not include parts unless otherwise specified.
- If a manufacturer or extended warranty provider declines to cover parts, labor, travel, or any portion of the repair, the customer is responsible for the remaining balance of the invoice, whether partial or in full.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the generator as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Service work is warrantied for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.
5. Emergency Services
- Emergency service is defined as a loss of utility power where the standby generator fails to start or deliver power to the home.
- Emergency calls are prioritized based on technician availability. Some repairs may require follow-up visits for parts or extended labor.
6. Service Limitations
- On Demand Power does not currently install new generator systems or perform unrelated electrical contracting work such as panel upgrades or lighting installations.
- Generator service is provided at the discretion of the owner and is not limited to specific brands, though service is primarily focused on Generac and Briggs & Stratton equipment.
7. Site Documentation & Photos
- Technicians will take photographs of the generator, transfer switch, and data plates during service visits.
- Additional photos may be taken to document installation conditions, clearances, and compliance with manufacturer or local code requirements.
- These images are used for documentation, internal records, and warranty processing when applicable.
